Let me drive you to Walhalla!

With a very small class of only 3 students this Landscape Photography workshop is an ideal way to develop at your own pace. This day long workshop can be tailored to your ability whether you are an absolute beginner trying to learn the basics or an advanced amateur looking to take their photography to the next level.

All courses start with foundation aspects of photography to ensure you have a good understanding of shutter speed, aperture, ISO and focus. Hopefully I can show you just how simple photographic technique can be! Once you feel you are confident in your technique then we can move on to the more creative aspects of photography like lighting and composition.

I have visited Walhalla and photographed it extensively. I am very familiar with the photographic potential of various locations so I know how to place us in the right place at the right time! Generally, a day long workshop gives us the opportunity to visit all of Walhalla’s locations.

Experience life as it was in historic Walhalla. Once one of Australia's richest towns and home to over 4000 gold seekers, this sleepy mountainside town is now frozen in time and is home to only 20 residents. Walk through the lovingly restored centre full of heritage buildings and surrounds.  This town is close to my heart, as my great great grandmother was the first white baby born here during the gold rush period.  Her father owned a local Hotel that is rich in history.
