How to add a Preset to Lightroom

You have purchased a Preset, but now how do you install it to Lightroom?

Download the presets collection zip file to your computer. Remember where you have stored it as you will need to find it later.

Extract the files & folders from the zip file.

On a Mac simply double-click the zip folder to unzip and extract the files. On a PC you can right-click on the file and select “Extract all”. Take note where the extracted files are located on your computer hard drive because you’ll need them for the next step.

On a PC, open Lightroom and click on Edit at the top, followed by Preferences

On a Mac, click on the Lightroom, then Preferences

Click on the button that says Show Lightroom Presets Folder

Now double click on the folder labelled Lightroom

Next double click on Develop Presets Folder.

Copy the contents of the Jacqui B Presets Folder, found in your download, into the “Develop Presets” folder.

You have now installed your preset. You will need to restart your Lightroom. Once you have simply go to Presets on the Left side of your Lightroom in develop and click to add your preset to your image.
